Iv'e seen many boards trash and insult the movie Varan: the Unbelievable (both versions). What is your opinion? Do you agree with the maijority, or do you respect this film? I think the Japanese version was amazing, at par with Godzilla movies like Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla and Invasion of Astro Monster even. But the American version is just... oh, nevermind, it's best I don't go on a rampage. _________________

Well, I've seen the Japanese version, and I think it's underrated. It's really an OK movie. Varan looks cool, the special effects are decent and the music by Ifukube is pure awesomeness! _________________ "Just close your eyes, but keep your mind wide open." - Leslie Burke (AnnaSophia Robb in Bridge to Terabithia)

I didn't see the original yet, but I hate the American version. So slow. |

Haven't seen either version.
I actually haven't seen Varan in action. Ever. |

I have the Japanese version on DVD. I've seen it , and I thought it was pretty good. _________________ "A prehistoric monster the Japanese call Godzilla has just walked out of Tokyo Bay. He's as tall as a 30-story building." Steve Martin in Godzilla: King Of The Monsters |

Yeah, I've never seen it either, or the original Mothra movie. Though, personally I like Varan just because he's not as known as other kaiju. _________________ Post Pictures of your Collection!

^ You're unlucky. Varan is one of the greatest monsters in Toho History.
